PRINCIPLE: 01

What’s the Difference Between Tithes & Offerings?

  • Tithe: is a tenth (10%) of your total income that you have received (before taxes).

  • Offering: is the amount you wish to give, that is beyond your Tithe amount you have sowed.

Scripture Support: Genesis14:19–20 (ESV)

19 And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
20 and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

  • NO. We do not believe you should include what you have paid unto God (through the ministry) to any local, state, or government.

**Remember, State and Federal taxes are separate.

Until (the laws of the land) change, you are obligated to abide by the law and pay local, state, and (if needed) federal taxes.

Scripture Support: Matthew 17:24-27 (KJV)

24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Here is the Biblical example of JESUS PAYING TAXES and obeying the Laws!! Nowhere, does Jesus instruct, nor, enforce Peter to use this amount he paid, to add to the total amount (for that year) they received. Since Kingdom Builder's Ministry solely operates within the principles in the Bible, we do not instruct you to add this to your tax return, because we see it as exaltation of pride for yourself.

What if my Tithes and/or Offering is added??

IF, you choose to add (or prior to reading have already added) your Tithes to your filing for Tax Return, YOU ARE OBLIGATED - BY THE PRINCIPLE OF INCOME - to pay a Tithe from the full Tax Return amount you are refunded

IF, you choose to add (or prior to reading have already added) your Offering to your filing for Tax Return, YOU ARE OBLIGATED - BY THE PRINCIPLE OF INCOME - to pay a Tithe from the full Tax Return amount you are refunded.

The principle of Income is defined as money you have obtained through work or investments. Work (regardless of profession) automatically covers Tithes. Your investments covers your Offering. Both must be paid!!

LIFE EXAMPLE:

  • You have chosen to add your Tithe of $1,000.

  • You also added you our Offering of $1,000.

  • Your Total Earned for the year $12,000.

  • You have received a Refund for $2,000.

  • Your Tithe from the Refund will be: $200.

  • IF, you wish to add an Offering amount to this, then keep in mind the minimum to be paid is $200 + the (optional) Offering.

PRINCIPLE: 03

Do I Tithe 10% of my income "Before" or "After" taxes?

  • BEFORE.

LIFE EXAMPLE:

  • You total Gross Income is $1,000.

  • The Total Deductions (Including Taxes) is $200.

  • Your Net Income will be $800.

  • Your Tithe = $100

  • IF, you wish to add an Offering amount to this, then keep in mind the minimum to be paid is $100 + the Offering.

  • NO. We do not believe you should include what you have paid unto God (through the ministry) to any local, state, or government.

PRINCIPLE: 05

Should I Tithe or give Offering, while trying to pay off debt?

  • You must first meet with one of our ministry Leaders, before making this decision!!!

  • Each situation is unique, "individual based", and will be determined based on the mutual understanding for all participants.

**Remember, "It is better to be safe than sorry!!"

The goal is to get you financially stable so that you live an "abundant" life (not just financially, but in all areas of life).

IF, you are in debt, paying Tithes or Offering, may be very difficult. This is why we strongly suggest this decision NEEDS to be a joint decision between you and the ministry, otherwise you risk becoming in more debt or placing yourself on the path of God's judgement for non-payment.

  • NO. We do not believe you should include what you have paid unto God (through the ministry) to any local, state, or government.

PRINCIPLE: 07

Will the ministry or its Members, ever expose my Tithe or Offering to any Local, State, or Government agencies or Law Enforcements?

  • NO. Kingdom Builder's Ministry is not established to expose anyone.

Are there any exceptions?? YES.

What are the exceptions??

For example: You are (secretly) a bank robber, that decides to pay Tithes and/or Offering to the ministry.

  • Since this is an "income based seed" and initially the ministry is unaware that you are a bank robber; we would initially treat this as holy Tithe or Offering, and accept it.

  • However, upon the Lord or any factors, that exposes the sin being committed; we have an obligation by God, to not only, co-operate with Law Enforcements (with the possibility of returning of the money), but also, conduct our own investigations of anyone and their affiliates, in order to RESOLVE ANY SIN being committed.

  • NO. We do not believe you should include what you have paid unto God (through the ministry) to any local, state, or government.

What does the Bible say about "Blood Money"?

  • Scripture: Matthew 26:15

  • Scripture: Matthew 27:3 - 6

Matthew 26:15 (KV)
15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

AND

Matthew 27:3 - 6 (KV)
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

The scriptures above is s a perfect examples of a person that was given, has obtained, and received "Blood Money" in order for Jesus to be murdered. [Matthew 26:15 (KV)]

In the end, even Judas understood receiving "Blood Money" is not only a sin but also carries heavy penalties from God.  He tried to return it back, but was rejected. [Matthew 27:3 - 6 (KV)]

Lesson to learn, is that regardless of the reason your Tithe is coming from a sin committed, "Blood Money", you are commanded by God to reveal this, in order to give yourself the opportunity to repent in your mind and behavior, and no longer be in a position of giving an "unholy" seed.

  • NO. We do not believe you should include what you have paid unto God (through the ministry) to any local, state, or government.

**Remember, State and Federal taxes are separate.

  • Your Tithe from the Refund will be: $200.

  • IF, you wish to add an Offering amount to this, then keep in mind the minimum to be paid is $200 + the (optional) Offering.

PRINCIPLE: 08

Should I include my Tithe or Offering, when filing Tax Returns?

PRINCIPLE: 10

Should I Tithe if I have received from a "unholy" action also know as "sinful funds or finances"?

  • NO.

All seeds are judged by God and the judging is based on the type of offering, the condition of the offering, and most importantly - the intention of the heart (genuinely cheerful heart or grudgingly. Contrary to religious beliefs, Cain offering was not rejected because it came from the ground.

This is proven in:  2 Chronicles 31:5

And as soon as the commandment was published in Israel, they brought the first fruits of grain, wine, oil, and of their cattle, and of the produce of the field; and the tithe of all things they brought in abundantly.

Abel's offering was satisfying and can be examined in:  Genesis 4:4

And Abel also brought of the first-born of his flock and of the fatlings thereof. And the LORD was pleased with Abel and with his offering...).

God's Word does not and will never contradict itself. It is our responsibility to gain understanding of His Will and His Ways, in giving tithes. God accepts fruit offering as well as animal offering's at this time, because Jesus has not yet died on the Cross for our sins, and just as Abel knew the holy and acceptable way to give offering, so did Cain; however as it was emphasized, it must come as the "first-born" and selected from the best of the flock. IF, Cain would have selected from the best of his crops, from the first harvest (instead of possibly rotten, dusty, anything but the first, and done cheerless heart), it is safe to assume, his offering would have been accepted by the Lord.

This same principle goes for giving "unholy" offering.

Never be ashamed to need help!! We encourage everyone to ask questions and here to support and assist in joint decision between you and the ministry.

PRINCIPLE: 12.1

What if the money is considered "Blood Money"?

  • YES.

AND IMMEDIATELY LET THE MINISTRY KNOW UPON YOUR GIVING - so we can IMMEDIATELY

RETURN IT BACK TO YOU!!!

The reason it's accepted is because it is INCOME (regardless of how it is obtained, it still falls within the "principle of income").

Kingdom Builder's Ministry solely and strictly functions within

Godly Principles, so when you provide the money and inform that it is "Blood Money" - THIS GIVES THE MINISTRY -

THE NECESSARY OPPORTUNITY to minister to you, in sincere hopes you STOP YOUR ACTIONS that result in

obtaining or giving "Blood Money".

Giving "Blood Money" is a sin and we

DO NOT condone this type of giving.

IF YOU ARE FOUND giving "Blood Money" - ALL the finances will be immediately RETURNED - upon the revelation of this matter.

Please understand, that the sin ATTACHES ITSELF - BOTH WAYS!!! It falls upon any ministry that "knowingly" receives and on the person or group for "not revealing".

IF YOU DO NOT REVEAL that the money you're giving is "Blood Money" than the ministry is not accountable for accepting (until God or circumstance) reveals this.

Knowingly keeping this hidden from ministry DOES NOT release you or your affiliates from the consequences, for receiving and/or obtaining "Blood Money".

If this sin involves you, please let us know

so that we can help you!!!
